Its no secret that the economy is in a rough spot and finding a job has become exponentially more difficult over the last decade as the number of available jobs has plummeted. As a result of this, it can be extremely frustrating process when attempting to find the best candidate for an open position within your business. Any position that is made public will undoubetedly receive an overwhelming flood of applications that now become your job to sort through. Sifting through these resumes in search for the ones that meet all of your qualifications is a task in itself and this is before any of the laborious interview process has even started. This is where recruitment process outsourcing can come in handy.

Recruitment process outsourcing ultimately just hands over this task to an experienced, reputable third-party . This is beneficial for several reasons. The first reason is that this delegation of duties will save the employer time and resources. While the recruiter focuses on finding the right employee in a timely fashion, the employer can focus on the daily demands of their business. The responsibilities of sorting through applications, scheduling and conducting preliminary interviews, calling references and performing background checks are crucial to finding the right applicant but are not necessary for the employer to take part in, if they have a trusted recruiter on the job.

The hiring process has shifted dynamics in the wake of the recession. The economic environment has changed the face of both the hiring market and job seekers themselves. There are more seekers than there are jobs, and there is a greater diversity in the qualification levels of those looking for jobs. It used to be that a company could post a job opening on an employment board and they could expect to receive a manageable amount of resumes to sort through before they began the process of setting up interviews. However, with the ease of sending resumes electronically coupled with the higher number of people submitting, many companies are finding that the response is too overwhelming for them to handle on their own. Filling a vacant position at your business may have presented minor challenges in the past, but there comes a point when it makes sense to keep your productivity high by hiring a recruitment process outsourcing team (RPO) to help with hiring. When you’ve reached that point, here is a guide to RPO in order to help you make the right choice for your company.

To reduce overhead costs in your human resources department and to give your company a competitive edge, hiring a recruitment process outsourcing team has proven to be beneficial to many businesses. With recruiters taking care of the initial steps of the hiring process, you and your employees are free to concentrate on the other demands of your business. While you are “taking care of business,” your RPO team will be working hard to find that perfect fit. They will compile a list of potential candidates who may be suited for your position who they can contact immediately. If they don’t have the right fit in their files, then they will conduct an extensive search to find the right people for you to interview. They will go through applications and resumes, schedule screening interviews, call references and even perform background checks. By the time you meet their suggested candidates, all of the tedious yet important steps of the hiring process will be complete.

For these time-saving reasons alone, many companies are turning to RPO to help them make important hiring decisions. The advantage of having an RPO team working for your company whenever you need to fill a position is that they will also make it their job to learn what makes your company work and what kind of people will help your company further succeed. They can also help to further brand your company by positively promoting it among the job seeking population. The benefits associated with choosing RPO have continually grown over the years. Make sure that you work closely with the RPO you hire from the beginning so that you know you are on the same page and have the same vision regarding how your position can best be filled. From there, let them do the work, and you can look forward to meeting your next employee in no time.

If you need a position filled at your company but you do not have the time or resources to allot to the hiring process, you may want to consider recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) to fill your vacant position. RPO can be a valuable resource to many companies, both large and small. Having a team that is in charge of finding candidates for you to hire saves you time and increases your chances of hiring the best. Before you hire just any recruitment process outsourcing firm to help with your hiring needs, you need to consider the technicalities of recruitment process outsourcing. There are a few key questions to ask when evaluating which RPO team will be best for your company to work with.

How many searches does the recruiter handle at once?

While it would be nice to be the only game in town, the truth is that most recruiting companies need to take on several different clients in order to stay afloat. Therefore, it is important for you to know how many searches the recruiter typically handles at one time – not only the amount the recruiting company takes on, but also the amount that each individual recruiter handles and, more specifically, how many searches the recruiter assigned to your company will be handling. If you feel like they are not going to be able to devote the time necessary to your search, then you will want to continue looking. On the other hand, you may find that you would prefer it if they have more cases to attend to, because that may help widen the search field for your available position. Whichever method you think is best for your company is what you will want to look for when asking this question.

What percentage of their hires are completed successfully – that is, with a client hiring a candidate selected by the recruiter?

Just because the recruiter offers you a carefully chosen pool of candidates to hire from doesn’t always mean that the final hiring decision will be made from this selection. Some clients may find that they want to continue looking on their own if the recruiter doesn’t deliver specifically to their needs. Asking the recruitment process outsourcing firm about their success rate percentage will help you determine their effectiveness. It is also helpful if you ask to speak with a few of their references. You can contact past clients and ask them how happy they were with their hiring results.

What does the timetable for the process look like?

Each job will surely vary in regards to the time necessary to make effective hiring choices, but your recruitment process outsourcing company should have a general timetable to offer you. Can you expect to interview potential candidates by the end of the week, by the end of the month, or even several months from the start of the process? The urgency of your hiring needs should be reflected in the timetable the recruiting company you work with can offer you.

How (and at what point in the hiring process) do they check with references, and what do they look for when they do?

References are an important factor in the hiring process, and knowing when your recruiter will follow up with potential candidates’ references can make a big difference. Will references be checked before you meet with candidates? Will references be contacted after you express interest in a candidate? How will this affect your final decision? Working closely with your recruiter to ensure that you are on the same page when it comes to how important this step is will help to make your decision on regarding which recruitment process outsourcing firm to choose far more manageable.

In most companies, few departments have duties as varied – or as demanding – as those of the human resources department. Employees in the HR department have many different tasks, each just as important as the last. These include handling payroll, evaluating employee performance, fielding employee complaints, making sure all labor laws are enforced, reviewing worker’s compensation claims, and in many cases, hiring new employees for vacant positions. With so much on their plates, you may wonder how your internal human resources department could possibly handle the demands of a carefully and thoroughly conducted recruitment process – and, unfortunately, you may be right. Luckily, there is a solution that will satisfy everyone and leave your company in a better position than it was before: Recruitment process outsourcing. By outsourcing the hiring duties that normally fall to your internal HR department to a third party recruitment professional, you’ll reduce some of your HR employees’ heavy workload, and find a talented new hire in the process.

Recruitment process outsourcing is an excellent choice for companies that have found their human resources departments deluged by both employee and company needs – a common occurrence, especially during a financial crisis like the one that was recently felt on a global level. Even under the best of circumstances, HR workers tend to be enormously busy. Add a search for new employees on top of those everyday duties, and you have a recipe for stressed out, unhappy human resources professionals – or, even worse, a sloppily conducted recruitment search that drags on for months, or ends with a new hire who is less than ideal for the position in question. Hiring the wrong person is always a problem, but the issues are only compounded when the position in question is a higher-level management job. Mistakes made in filling these openings could cost the company dearly, in terms of time, money and even standing within the industry. That’s why it’s so crucial to embrace recruitment process outsourcing.

A talented, experienced third party recruiter will be able to devote themselves completely to fulfilling your company’s needs when it comes to employment – and they can do it much faster than your in-house HR department ever could. On top of finding the best new prospects as quickly as possible, hiring the services of a recruitment firm will also leave your current employees feeling happy and focused, rather than upset and overwhelmed. Your company deserves the very best, and the easiest way to ensure that the best is found is to hire a professional recruiter immediately.

Hiring a new employee for your company is serious business. In fact, as a hiring manager, it is almost certainly the most pivotal task that will fall to you in a professional capacity. You want to make sure you hire the perfect person for the job, but you may feel like you don’t have enough time to devote to the hiring process. Making the wrong choice could cost your company dearly, in terms of both time and money – and, in the end, you may find that your own job is contingent upon your ability to make those tough hiring choices. If you want to ensure that the best candidates possible are found, you should turn to recruitment process outsourcing. By outsourcing your hiring needs to a professional recruitment company, you’ll be doing both yourself and your company a favor. Here are 10 reasons why you should consider recruitment process outsourcing for your next employee search:

Professional recruiters will be able to find better candidates than you can on your own. Why? Because they can combine their extensive experience in handling the hiring process with their background in the industry they specialize in (for example, sales recruiters often have sales backgrounds, which gives them special insight).

Recruiters will also be able to find great candidates faster. This is because they know how to read resumes and cover letters, what questions to ask in interviews, and how to decipher body language, among other skills. Instead of drawing out the hiring process for months on end, recruitment process outsourcing could potentially produce results in just a few weeks.

Recruiting companies can go places you can’t for candidates – namely, straight to the competition. It would be challenging, if not impossible, for you to attempt to poach an individual from a competing company without violating the unspoken rules of professional decorum; fortunately, recruiters have methods that will help you keep your tact while at the same time finding the best person possible for the job.

The economic downturn has created an oversaturated job market. Therefore, job postings attract applicants both qualified and not so qualified. Without the keen eye of a recruiter to help you through, you may find yourself wading through hundreds or even thousands of resumes that don’t meet your standards.

Recruitment process outsourcing will save you – and your employees – valuable time. This means that you can dedicate yourselves to keeping the company on track, rather than searching for new hires.

Similarly, a professional recruiter can save you money. Hiring someone who you may end up having to fire would be a costly mistake – and if they take the company in the wrong direction during their employment, that’s even more money down the drain.

Forging positive relationships with talented recruiters can continue to pay off long after your current employment needs have been met. Call upon a recruiter now, and they will be there for you when your next job opening arises!

Let’s be honest: Hiring can be a dull, joyless task. Why not spare yourself the tedium by outsourcing?

You may not have adequate experience in hiring new people. This holds especially true for companies that are relatively new, or have a small staff. If you don’t know where to begin, it’s best to turn to a recruiting company instead.

Finally, working with a recruiter can give you a unique – and valuable – new perspective on your company. You may realize that you have hiring needs you didn’t even know you had, all thanks to the expertise of your professional recruiter. Contact a company in your area today for more information on whether recruitment process outsourcing is right for you.

With the increased amount of job seekers in the market today, one would think that filling a vacant position would be easier than ever. However, the opposite has proven to be true; in fact, finding the right employee for your company is now more challenging than ever. The fact is that when a job opening is presented, the company in question is usually flooded with applications. Unfortunately, not all of these applications will be from people who are highly qualified for your position. The need for a job – any job – is just too great for job seekers to be discerning. People will apply for most anything at this point. This just makes the sorting process even more time-consuming, and coupled with the ease of sending resumes electronically, you may find that your inbox is flooded with hundreds of applications within only a day of posting your vacant position. With these kinds of overwhelming numbers, many businesses are turning to recruitment process outsourcing to help them with the hiring process.

Why hire a recruiter?

Hiring a recruiter used to be a luxury reserved for big businesses, but it has now become a necessity for most companies, no matter their size. A recruitment process outsourcing company is advantageous to have on your side because they already have a database of qualified job seekers that they have compiled and updated for various fields of employment.

How do they find the candidates that comprise their database?

While each company surely has a different strategy, the basics remain the same. Oftentimes, job seekers submit their applications and resumes directly to the recruiters in hopes of additional help in finding the right position for them. From here, the recruiters review the resumes and determine which ones exhibit enough potential to warrant an interview. They will conduct initial interviews as part of the screening process. Then, the recruiter will call references and perform background checks to further ensure that potential candidates are primed and ready for employment. After all of these hurdles are cleared, a candidate can then find their way into the database.

How does this system benefit my business?

With a wealth of job seekers at their fingertips, recruiting process outsourcing companies are often able to recommend viable candidates quickly and confidently. This makes your hiring process much more manageable. You will only need to interview people who have already proven that they are ready to be employed. If, for any reason, the recruiting company doesn’t have the right fit for your position in their database already, they will conduct all of the previously mentioned steps to find those candidates for you. They will post the job opening and field all of the applications. This process could take days or weeks, and hiring a recruiter ultimately frees you up to focus on other pressing matters at your company. Hiring a recruiter is, quite simply, better time management.

Recruitment process outsourcing is the right choice for many companies looking to fill positions quickly and efficiently. Having access to the best candidates out there is easier with the right recruiters working for you.

The current economic climate has many companies asking if recruitment process outsourcing is right for them. The amount of positions to be filled have been decreased while the field of candidates has greatly increased. Finding the right person with the right skill set to work successfully within your business can be a difficult task. While utilizing recruiting companies has worked in the past, the unique challenges of today’s tough economy beg to be dealt with in a more thorough manner.

While it is true that there may be not as many positions to fill, the challenge has become finding the right person in the inflated job seeking world to fill your position. Since finding the right candidate can take an extended amount of time, productivity can greatly be effected. If your company does not have the additional resources to take on the time commitment of hiring, then recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) can be a wise choice. RPOs take on the responsibilities of all recruiters, such as sorting through resumes and applications, screening applicants through preliminary interviews, calling references and conducting background checks, however, they also go several steps further. Your RPO firm will take you all the way through the hiring process to the actual hiring. After the right employee is found, they will also aid in the transition of your new team member, through arranging training, taking care of accounting, and the like. While this is all being taken care of your company gets the added bonus of focusing on the daily demands of your business. Productivity stays up while hiring is taken care of.

You have to decide whether this hands on approach is right for the balance of your business. Some may find that they prefer to do the hiring, while other may find that it is a relief to have it taken care of. Speaking with a recruitment process outsourcing company and voicing any concerns is sure to alleviate worries, as well as allow room for compromises leading you to the exact level of service you require.

The world of recruitment process outsourcing is a unique one that is fairly new to the game. Most companies are familiar with recruitment agencies and have most likely utilized their services. Recruitment process outsourcing, or RPO, takes the convenience of using a recruiter for the beginning steps of the hiring process and translates that convenience several steps further. RPO companies take care of the entire hiring process for your company, from beginning steps to hiring to transitioning the new employee into your company. A full service RPO will be able to help your company with the entire hiring process and beyond.

Turning to recruitment process outsourcing has become a growing trend in recent years. The current state of the economic climate has led to many budget tightening actions, however the full service offering from RPO has been considered worth the cost. Since the job seeking market has grown exponentially, while available positions have dwindled, finding the right candidate for your opening can be overwhelming. From the sheer number of applications you are certain to receive, this is understandable. On top of that, productivity needs to remain a priority to keep your company competitive. If resources are expended trying to find a new employee, that is seen as inefficient. Finding a RPO agency that you can trust to take care of the hiring process from step A to step Z can be a wise option when you need to stay focused on the daily demands of your business.

Whether your company is large or small, outsourcing your hiring requirements can bring a bit of freedom to your daily operations when you need to fill a vacant position quickly and efficiently. A well managed RPO can increase the quality of candidates for your company and reduce hiring time. It is no wonder this type of recruiting has seen an increase in use.

In today’s tough economy, the amount of job seekers has exponentially increased as the amount of jobs available has lessened considerably. Due to this fact alone, it can be difficult to find the best candidate for a vacant position within your company. If a position is made public, then there is a great chance that you will be confronted with an overwhelming amount of applications. While this can seem desirable to have a large pool of candidates to choose from, the reality is that many applications received will not be qualified and the process of sorting through these resumes is time-consuming and tedious. This is why many companies are turning to recruitment process outsourcing for their hiring needs.

The goal behind recruitment process outsourcing is for an employer to hand over most, if not all, of the hiring responsibilities to a third party to handle. This is beneficial for several reasons. The first reason is that this delegation of duties will save the employer time and resources. While the recruiter focuses on finding the right employee in a timely fashion, the employer can focus on the daily demands of their business. The responsibilities of sorting through applications, scheduling and conducting preliminary interviews, calling references and performing background checks are necessary to the hiring process but are not necessary for the employer to take part in, if they have a trusted recruiter on the job.

The recruitment agency knows that their client’s needs being met is the number one priority, so they take finding the right candidates very seriously. They will only present the most qualified talent for potential hire. They also have a database of qualified individuals to draw from in order to make the recruitment process even more speedy. Once the hiring decision is made, the recruiter may even help with the transition of employment into their client’s company. This is based upon the agreement decided upon between the employer and the recruiter. Recruitment process outsourcing is different from staffing agencies in that they assume ownership of the design and process of the recruiting and for the responsibility of the outcome of the hiring. In this way, many companies find that outsourcing is more desirable because they can truly trust that the hiring process is being taken care of from A to Z, without the need to micro-manage the process.
